Hotel Parking

NOTE: Parking at the hotels is limited. If you are an Atlanta local, PLEASE do not drive to the convention if you can; instead, please use MARTA. Please save these parking spots for people traveling from out of town.

The Marriott, Hyatt, and Hilton offer hotel guests a discounted valet parking rate if booked through FWA’s room block. The Marriott’s parking rate is $28 per night, the Hyatt’s Parking rate is 20% off posted rate (the posted rate as of 5/2/2023 is currently $55), and the Hilton’s self-parking rate is $5 off the posted rate (the posted rate as of 5/2/2023 is currently $35).

NOTE: They Hyatt cannot accommodate oversized vehicles. The Marriott and Hilton have an additional fee for oversized vehicles.:

The PDF below contains a list of vehicles the Marriott will accept as Full Sized vehicles:

If you use valet parking, please remember to tip a suitable amount to the valet. $2-$5 when the valet retrieves your car is considered standard.

Nearby Parking Lots

Furry Weekend Atlanta is not specifically recommending any lot not associated with the host hotel. We are providing the following for informational purposes only, and we recommend that you be aware of any rules and regulations associated with these lots.

Public parking located near the hotel is offered by a variety of parking garages and surface lots, controlled by a variety of different companies. This is a great site of what your parking options are. There is also another parking formation site here. We’ve also heard great things about Spot Hero to find and reserve parking. These public lots generally do not allow in-and-out privileges and they generally range from $10-30/day. Here are links to some of the lots.

  • Lanier Parking has several lots near the hotel. Search for “Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel” to find close parking.
  • LAZ Parking has several lots located around the area.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: It is IMPERATIVE that you read the rules associated with any lot not located on the hotel property. Very often “24 hour” doesn’t actually mean 24 hour (the clock resets at 2am 5am or 6am, for instance, and cars still in the lot may be booted). Don’t leave any valuables in your vehicle and exercise common sense.

MARTA Stations

For a lower-cost parking option, consider parking in the Long Term Parking lot at one of the many MARTA stations in the Atlanta area and riding to the hotel. Directions on how to get to the convention hotel using MARTA are available here.

Station Parking Rate
Lindbergh Center $8/day
Dunwoody $5/day
Sandy Springs $5/day
North Springs $8/day
Brookhaven $5/day
Doraville $8/day
College Park $8/day

Parking at the Airport: There are many parking lots available at the airport where you can take the parking provider’s shuttle to the airport and from there take Marta to the Airport.  This may be more convenient for those coming from south Georgia and Florida.

FWA is attempting to secure discount parking at a nearby lots. However, there are numerous surface lots in the vicinity of the hotel. Please be aware that many of these lots are inexpensive during the day but have a high overnight parking rate. Read the posted rules and directions at each lot.
