Atlanta’s MARTA public transit system is an excellent, easy and cost-effective way to reach the convention. Furry Weekend Atlanta’s new location in downtown Atlanta is a mere two blocks from the Peachtree Center MARTA Station.

To get from the Peachtree Center MARTA station to the hotel, follow these very simple directions:

1. Once you exit your train, you want to proceed to the escalators on the north end of the train station.(if you travel south, go left. If you travel north go right).
2. Once through the exit gates, go to the long escalators (the longest in the southeast) to your right. Follow to the street level.
3. Once on the street level, go left toward the Hard Rock Café.
4. Turn left at the Hard Rock Cafe, onto Andrew Young International Boulevard.
5. Walk 2 blocks and the hotel will be on the right at the intersection of International Boulevard and Courtland Street.

Parking at MARTA Stations

Keep in mind that there is free daily and cheap long-term parking available at many MARTA stations! A full list of stations that have parking is available here. These prices range from $4 to $7 per day so, if you are traveling light, looking to save some money and not opposed to being a few miles away from your car, you may consider parking it and taking the train in.
