Furry Weekend Atlanta After Dark is excited to announce our new Adults only event.

The Moonlight Festival

The Moonlight Festival is focused on providing a safe space where our guests can embrace their adult sides and meet more like-minded individuals. Here you can shop for Adult merchandise, dance with your friends, make new friends, and even enjoy a beverage at the cash bar. You must be 18+ to enter and 21+ to drink. This is a kink positive event where we encourage our guests to express themselves in ways that they can’t in the general public. Be genuinely you.

This late night event will have several dealers of adult goods, entertainment, and have cash bars available for alcoholic beverages. Our event is a consent driven safe space. Be comfortable as you are, but keep in mind that nudity and any sexual acts are not allowed. Each detail will be announced here on this page, so make sure to check back frequently!

We’d like to take a moment to thank Further Confusion for being the spark to this idea. We loved and enjoyed their “Night Market” event so much that we felt called to provide a similar service at FWA!

Musical Performances by…

Strawberry Protato

I started DJing during Covid, after decades of trumpet jazz, classical, & experimental, augmented w/FX, synths, & other audio foolery, & have been into EDM since hearing the 20 minute cut of "Autobahn" on my dad's reel-to-reel.  My groove is lively but chill, pulling from both the living & the digital realms of sound; combinations of Houses Organic, Melodic, Tribal, Afro, Latin, Deep, & Prog, as well as Funk, Breaks, Liquid, Psy, Goa, and anything else that fits these "Strawberry Vibes".  Come along w/me, drift w/the flow, lose yourself on a journey through the mechanical heart~  It's all about the love, y'all!  <3 <3 <3

FAQ

What is the Moonlight Festival?

The Moonlight Festival is our spin on Further Confusion’s amazing Night Market from 2020. We loved the event so much that we decided to bring it to the East Coast. Our event is focused on providing a safe space where our guests can embrace their adult sides and meet more like-minded individuals. Here you can shop for Adult merchandise, dance with your friends, make new friends, and even enjoy a beverage at the cash bar. You must be 18+ to enter and 21+ to drink. This is a kink positive event where we encourage our guests to express themselves in ways that they can’t in the general public. Nudity and sexual acts are not permitted.

What can I wear to the Moonlight Festival?

For FWA, the answer is simple – be genuinely you. This means that we want to be inclusive to all of our guests regardless of their identity. Every guest that attends FWA should have the ability to express their identity exactly how they want to.

Truthfully, we took this question seriously, and made sure to give it the time that it deserved. Specifically, we centered on finding the best way to be inclusive to all of our guests regardless of their identity. Frankly, if it were up to us, this wouldn’t be a conversation because we believe that every guest should be free to express their identity in the exact way they want.

Unfortunately, the City of Atlanta and the State of Georgia are not as progressive as we are. With that in mind and for everyone’s safety, our policy on wardrobe is as follows.

Specifically that means that the following areas must be covered:

  • Buttocks
  • Genitals
  • Nipples (male, female, non-binary)

We encourage our guests to dress within their comfort level and within these guidelines. Embrace your genuine self through gear such as fursuits, latex, leather, neoprene, rubber, PVC, and lace.

We do ask our guests, however, to avoid any liquid to solid coverings “as clothes” such as liquid latex and body paint. You are more than welcome to wear these with the above mentioned areas additionally covered.

Leashes, Collars, Cuffs, and harnesses are welcome. For Safety, please do not hold on to another person’s leash.

Please remember that while traveling to/from the event space, you must be fully covered as per City of Atlanta and State of Georgia laws. A coat check system is available to you inside of the room.

Will there be somewhere I can leave my belongings during the event?

Yes! Because you must be fully covered when traveling to/from the event, we are offering a coat check system in place for you to leave your belongings. That being said, we suggest you bring a bag to keep your valuables on your person.

Will I be able to drink?

Yup! There will be cash bars in the event space for people to get drinks from.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Outside food and drink are not allowed in the event. Water will be available inside the room and adult beverages are available via the cash bars.

How old do I need to be to attend?

Everyone attending needs to be 18+ and show their wristband and ID.

What is acceptable during the Moonlight Festival?

The Moonlight Festival is a kink positive space but it is not X rated. Sexual acts are not permitted.

What if I am having a problem during the event?

We take consent extremely seriously. FWA staff will be present throughout the event to help with any problems. We’re here to help should you have -any- problems. Do not be nervous about coming to us for help.

Is photography allowed?

No, pictures or videos are not allowed in the event area. If you are caught photographing at the event you will be asked to leave.
