From the North via I-75 South (e.g. from Chattanooga) or I-85 South (e.g. from Charlotte):

  1. About ten miles after crossing I-285 heading into Atlanta, I-75 and I-85 will merge. Continue southbound on the combined interstate
  2. Exit at Courtland Street – Exit #249A
  3. Courtland Street is a one-way street going south

From the South via I-75 North (e.g. from Macon) or I-85 North (e.g. from Montgomery):

  1. About six miles after crossing I-285 heading into Atlanta, I-75 and I-85 will merge. Continue northbound on the combined interstate.
  2. You will cross over I-20 and then enter into the downtown area.
  3. Take exit 248C for Freedom Pkwy toward GA-10 E/Andrew Young International Blvd/Carter Center.
  4. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Andrew Young International Blvd/World Congress Center/Centennial Olympic Park/Aquarium.
  5. Keep left at the fork to continue toward Andrew Young International Blvd NE.
  6. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for International Blvd.
  7. Turn left at Andrew Young International Blvd NE.

From the East via I-20 West (e.g. from Augusta):

  1. As you enter Atlanta, you will cross I-285. Stay on I-20 westbound.
  2. About ten miles inside I-285, exit onto I-75/I-85 northbound at Exit #57
  3. Take exit 248C for Freedom Pkwy toward GA-10 E/Andrew Young International Blvd/Carter Center.
  4. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Andrew Young International Blvd/World Congress Center/Centennial Olympic Park/Aquarium.
  5. Keep left at the fork to continue toward Andrew Young International Blvd NE.
  6. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for International Blvd.
  7. Turn left at Andrew Young International Blvd NE.
